How Does My Attorney Get Paid?

Attorney Merryl Jones works on a contingency fee basis – that means no money up front, no hourly fees. In most cases her fee is limited to the lesser of 25% of your back benefits up to a maximum of $7,200.00 (as of the year 2022). Her fee must be approved by Social Security and she files a fee agreement with SSA in every case.

This should be true of every attorney or advocate that you hire to represent you for your Social Security Disablity Claim.  If you are being asked to pay any retainer fees up front please call our office before signing any agreements.
